The goal of the The Vegan Chamber of Commerce (VCC) is to allow vegans to network and find vegan owned businesses and vegan service providers. By joining the VCC you will not simply advertise your business, but you will be helping to advertise all VCC members and providing support to their business and lifestyle.

Membership - Our standard membership is free! We accept donations to grow our site and increase our advertising budget. Our sponsor membership for $100 a year increases your ranking in our directory and you are listed as a sponsor in our newsletters. We accept all major credit cards and a variety of currencies through PayPal.

Your paid membership includes:

• A monthly newsletter.
• "Proud Member of the Vegan Chamber of Commerce" window decal.
• Logo icon linked to our page.
• Member only discounts from participating chamber members.
• Discounts on participating trade show booths.
• Participation in our shared link program.

Member Requirements - VCC membership is open to all vegans. We accept your word that you are vegan, and that you nor your business or organization contribute to the consumption of animal products. We do not accept vegetarian owned businesses for the reason that lacto-ovo vegetarians still contribute to vast amounts of animal suffering and environmental impact. If you are a vegetarian business owner, please reconsider your choices and GO VEGAN!

Animal defense organizations which include animal rights, sanctuaries, and rescue organizations are welcome to join as long as they are vegan operated and promote a vegan lifestyle.

Being vegan is a life long commitment and if you have joined the VCC and decide you can no longer avoid contributing to the consumption of animal products, please advise us so we can remove your listing.

Shared Link Program - The way that search engines like "Google" and "Yahoo" work is that they increase your ranking by the number of other websites that link to your site. This is why we are going to send out a simple html file of all VCC members websites every month. You simply upload this to your server site. By doing this, you will help to increase the ranking of all VCC members and they will help increase your ranking.

Adwords - The VCC will participate in Google's Adwords program. For a "fee per click" basis, the VCC will be advertised on participating sites Adsense ads. You have seen them everywhere and you probably know what they are. However, you might not realize that every click you make cost money for those advertisers. If you see the VCC ad, please do no click on it as it will deplete the funds we set aside every month to be listed. As our membership grows, we will have more to dedicate to those listings and if the monthly allotment is not being used entirely, we can increase our bid amount to increase our ads ranking in searches and advertisements.

Trade Shows - If you are planning to attend any "Green", or vegan type of trade shows, please let us know and we will negotiate with them for reduced fees for our members.

Hosting - At present, we currently host our site on a shared server. When we have enough members, we will purchase our own servers and host them independently. This will insure a fast, reliable connection.

Logo - Please display this icon on your website. You can copy this image and put it on your server, or you can copy and paste the code below into your html. It has a transparent background and will work with any color web page background or on a background image.
